Dental, Vision, and Hearing Insurance for Seniors with Medicare

Even with Medicare coverage, you will pay out of pocket for expenses like dentures, hearing aids, and eye exams for prescription glasses. Original Medicare does not include dental, vision, or hearing benefits. The good news is, there are affordable DVH plans available to all Medicare beneficiaries. Applying for these plans is easy, and your coverage could begin a few days after signing up.

How Do DVH Plans Work?

These style plans combine all three benefits into one single plan. They have a maximum benefit choice of $1,000, $1,500, $2,500, or $3,000 in certain states. An advantage to enrolling in a DVH plan is you are guaranteed to be approved regardless of your health.

DVH plans also allow you to use it at ANY provider’s office, which means there are no network restrictions. Another benefit; no waiting periods for preventive care.

What’s Covered Under DVH Insurance Plans?

The following are covered under dental, vision, and hearing insurance plans for Medicare beneficiaries.
  • Routine dental cleanings and deep-root cleanings
  • Cavity fillings and root canals
  • Bridges, crowns, and denture
  • Hearing exam
  • Hearing aids
  • Routine eye exams
  • Glasses
  • Contact lenses
